Mandatory for the 2025-26 Ringette Season
Ringette Ontario requires that one parent or guardian of every ringette player under the age of 18 complete the Respect in Sport Parent Program before that player can participate in ringette programming.
Completion of this course is mandatory for player registration to be approved.
The Respect in Sport Parent Program is a 1-hour online module that helps parents and guardians:
Ensure the safety and well-being of their child
Encourage positive, respectful communication
Understand the roles of coaches, officials, and volunteers
Enhance their child’s overall enjoyment and development in ringette
This program reinforces the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment in youth sport, both on and off the ice.
Required for all players under 18
Cost: $12 + tax
Format: Online and self-paced
Transferable: Valid across other sports using Respect in Sport
